I am not able to join the server

When I try connecting to the server it does not let me join. I get a screen saying "Could not connect to a default or fallback server, please try again later". Is there anyway I can fix this?

Hi, Hanz!

Well, I could see only a few issues connected with this particular problem. Either you are A: Not the Minecraft version 1.9, Either you or the server is having major connectivity issues, or C: The server is down (which it isn't).

Some ways I would resolve this if I had this problem is to either move closer to a router/modem so your connection is better, or you just keep on trying to connect to the server. Either way it is most probably on your end of the problem.

Thank you I had forgot the server was not in 1.8 anymore so I switched to 1.9 and I was able to connect.. Thank you for you help!
